That’s a constant fear in many people’s minds after they decide to take control of their dating lives rather than hope they magically meet someone.

I just heard a guy who say…"I’ve been rejected before and the pain of it sucks."

Now, we all have our ups and downs that’s obvious. Still, some people think success is about never having a bad day or a rejection ever. But, not only is that impossible, it’s not really the "point" anyway. It reminds me of something I learned about meditation. The point of meditation isn’t necessarily to have your mind be totally free from distracting thoughts.

Rather, it’s to get better and better at re-focusing WHEN you get distracted, each distraction is an opportunity to practice re-focusing.

So, if someone gets rejected, what if that’s just an opportunity to find someone more compatible? To not waste time with someone who wouldn’t be a good fit anyway?

Ultimately, I don’t believe you’re meant to be compatible with everyone.

I believe what’s most worth celebrating is creating unshakable self love and finding someone that can appreciate you… A quality person who is awesome rather than just someone you don’t connect well with but hey at least they didn’t reject you…

That’s what makes us fulfilled.

You aren't meant to connect with everyone.
