Its really hard to do with text. Maybe with emojis or bitmojis or memes. The reason is you have no control as to how the text will be read. The voice you hear in your head when you write is not necessarily the same voice that's going to read the text and whatever mood she's in is going to influence how it comes across.

That being said, not caring and just kinda saying what you want to say is probably the best solution. I would not try to hard to get a reaction. You're not a comedian and your interactions should be warm and normal anyway. You're not gonna be testing jokes on her if you were in person would you?

Also, who is saying she's honest and genuine? You or the girl? If it's her she's full of shit and trying to make you think about her a certain way. And if its you, you're delusional and perpetuating a fantasy about her.
