I have this really annoying problem that I just can’t seem to get over and it is really making me anxious every time I’m with a girl.

A - I’m absolutely fine in asking a girl on a date, being confident during the date, having a laugh etc.

B - I am also fairly confident when I am kissing a girl and how to progress to sex.

However I really struggle and overthink how to go from A to B. As in if you have a girl come back to your place after the date (or she invited me to hers) and we are having a good time (but not sexual), and I’m fairly certain that we both want to take things further, how do I do that? Like what are the actual steps?

In the past, I have either been way too drunk to remember anything or the girl has initiated.

I feel like I am too forward/ shy and afraid to do that, as if it is almost rude. I just can’t read social cues and I overthink a lot and get in my own head too much to have fun.

The times I wasn’t way too drunk or the girl didn’t initiate, we basically ended up watching Netflix for ages since neither of us initiated. Then I forced myself to but I was really tired and it just didn’t seem fun, more like doing a chore (despite wanting to and being attracted to the girl).

I feel like I’ve said more than one issue there but if anyone relates and has any advice that would be great.
