I learned that talking about tatoos and piercings leads to really interesting conversations not only about tatoos but you just keep going further and end up talking about art. (Then you ask her about on a date to an art museum ;) )

I like to listen to a lot of interesting audiobooks. I often use some interesting things I learned as a jumping off point Or I'll do something new and fun with a few friends and talk about that. Or I'll ask her deeper questions about her life. Maybe ask her about her entire life story and draw it out on a piece of paper so I have a clear understanding regarding her upbringing, trials and tribulations, career changes, love history etc.
