What you should be asking instead is "do I like her?" "do I want to go further with her?" "is she my type?", if you can answer yes to these questions, then ask her out. Be assertive please, and be honest with your intentions and with her.

I saw a girl last week (she is a 9-10/10) and I told her clearly that I was here to date her. At some point, I told her she was beautiful because she asked me what I thought about girls in my social circle (honest statement). During the date, she made it clear that she found me handsome and she was very happy to see me.

After the date, she initiated the convo on facebook messenger many times (I haven't initiated the convo with her since the date). She sends me heart emojis too (I don't use emojis).

Does this mean I will fall for her? Nah. I only judge what happened during the date, I don't care about all this. What matters is what I thought of her during the date, not what she does to get my approval/attention. I found her very stressed (of her life) and I couldn't escalate because of that so I'm not interested at the moment.

So please, stop focusing on what she does to get your attention and start focusing on what you want in life and what you want with her. If you want to go further, make it clear and ask her out.

Tell her how you feel about her and what you want. If you don’t “polarize her”, she’ll put you in the friend zone (if she hasn’t already) because she’ll assume you just want to be friends. Take a risk and go after her, but don’t do it in a needy/over-invested way. Remember that is she does reject you it’s still a good thing. You’re free to pursue other options!
