What else do you typically do when interacting with anyone?

I'm not even sure this question makes sense. I guess I'm looking for a "blueprint" sort of speak. I can elaborate on what I'm asking if requested. I'm not looking for routines or gimmicks, but tools to utilize for all my social interactions. Thanks.
