PSA to all dudes, this is not advice. In this context it’s silly and not annoying. But previously this has been the advice I’ve gotten 90% of the time when talking about girls with guy friends. Thankfully subs like this exist!

I’m posting this because some people need to hear it. If you’re on the more successful side of dating and hooking up, then don’t give “advice” like this to guys who have a hard time with it or are completely unsuccessful. It comes off as dismissive and arrogant. In this particular example is one of my best friends, and in the past he actually has given me some pretty good advice. But when you hear this all the time and don’t get actual advice from people for years on end (this was me at one point) you become discouraged beyond belief. I actually started to think that none of my guy friends gave a shit about helping me in any way.
