What signs do women show that they want you to make a move?

Every girl is different: some are forward and clear, others are more subtle and difficult to read. But here are some classic ones I know of:

Open body language: facing you, leaning towards you, not closed off (ex. arms crossed)
Mirroring: if you like someone, you might subconsciously mirror their stance/body language, so if you're sitting together and you adjust your arm or change your position and they do a little bit later, that's a sign they could be interested
Eye contact: might not be so accurate with shyer people, but maintaining eye contact can show interest. Not to mention if you can start to read people's emotions through their eyes, they can be a dead give away
Smiling/Laughing: if she's laughing at a lot of your jokes, or smiling a lot around you, she could be interested
Twirling hair/touching neck/touching behind ears: People do these things when they're nervous, so they'll twirl or mess with their hair, touch their necks or ears. If this is coupled with some of the other things and it seems more like a giggly, playful nervousness, she could be into you
Her behavior with you is different than with other guys: if you notice a positive difference in her voice, her body language, her eyes, etc when she is talking to you, then she could be interested in you as well
Light touches: if she actively tries to touch you, like a light hand on the shoulder when laughing together, or she brushes some "dust" off of your shirt, or your feet are touching under a table and she doesn't move it away, she could be into you
She's verbally flirting: playful teasing, active banter, compliments can all be signs
Shows interest in you: she either shows interest in your likes/activities/hobbies or suggests you teach them to her, or she seems overly enthusiastic about some of your interests. She could drop hints, so if you say you really like Thai food, maybe she says "Oh I love Thai food too...there's this great place a couple blocks away" and you could counter with "What's it called? Maybe we should go sometime"

This list doesn't include everything nor is it a checklist that definitely, 100% guarantees she is into you. Everyone expresses interest a little differently, so the best way to tell is to ask.

If she places herselfes close to you is a good one I have noticed many times.

I've found out ot much better on my nerves to not try and interpret signs, but rather go for it regardless. Do what you want, not what she, or anyone else wants

Great list so far. Now more to what IMHO is the question.

How do I tell if I should make the approach to initiate?
