I think it can go either way. You can just not comepletely give up on it and use the abundance mentality, or just completely move on. Talking to other girls might naturally make her jealous or just realize that you aren't going to wait around for her to figure out what she wants. I don't think it's wrong to just cut it off either based on how she reacted to when you said you wanted to be more than friends. To me, her response sounds like she's just playing games and enjoys flirting but isn't ever going to go past a certain point
