Women with BPD yes because it’s due to abandonment trauma. They associate emotional intimacy to painful experience therefore they avoid getting close to people.

There a quite a few of women with this and they are honestly quite fun, but be prepared to be stressed the fuck out.

It happened to me with my ex-gf. Luckily I was going to break it off myself, so I wasn't affected, but it was kind of scary how they can go from infatuated to 'goodbye' in the space of a few weeks.

It depends.. in my case she was about to have visa problems and wanted to let loose when she turned 30. Apparently I would have been perfect any other time. So it was self-protection for her in a way.

But then again, the words that come out of their mouth/phones isn't really the same as the emotions going on in their head.
