Guys are more attracted to beauty and good looking women. Guys love hour-glass shapes. Kinda just how we’re wired.

BF may feel like he has more competition to worry about now too. A more attractive GF means other guys will be looking and trying.

Also, how’s he look? If you’re going from a 3 to a 7 and he’s still a 4, maybe he’s worried you’d rather be with an 8 than a 4. So if he can’t compete in looks, maybe he tries to compete in affection.

As someone who looked awful when I was younger, it's something you just get used to really. Enjoy it, the attention is positive and people being nice is far from a problem. You worked hard to lose that weight and build a nice body, let them gawk.
