There was once I time where I hooked up with this girl and she ended up catching a ton of feelings. At the time I felt bad because I didn’t like her back that much so I gave the relationship a shot. In the end she ended up breaking up with me which really hurt my ego because at the beginning I didn’t want a relationship with her. It took me six months to get over it. That’s when I learned that that other people’s feelings matter more to them and you don’t owe them anything if you don’t feel the same way. What I should’ve done at the beginning was let her know that I was not looking for a relationship and move on to protect my own interests just she did in the end.
