For me, the line between being merely nice and likeable and seductive is blurry

The line is drawn by spontaneity. Being merely nice doesn't mean you're spontaneous, same with trying to seduce. Spontaneity is really the #1 way of seduction, for quite a few reasons:

It shows that if you're talking with a girl, you're really interested to know her personality, because you do what you want and you want what you do, anywhere and anytime. The girl in question sees her personality valuated by you, and that's a beautiful sensation (you surely felt that in your life).

Spontaneity also brings to feeling fulfilled by every person you talk to (you want to learn more about someone because you're spontaneous and you do what you want ;) ).

So then you become an interesting guy who's in love with people and makes them feel good, who doesn't want to have a night out with someone like that (and maybe even more ;) )?

Of course you gotta know YOUR way around flirting, but you gotta adapt and link every suggestion to your style and character

Exacly, it’s a blurry line. It’s less about your words or attitude and more about your conscious actions to make a move -take her number, ask her out and escalate to a makeout/sex.

Depending beholder, nice is either an euphemism forq needy, pushover, doormat, having external locus of identity (likes self as others like oneself) aka attention seeker, people pleaser or nice really means good, kind, assertive person. Kezia Noble explains the differences between nice guy, bad guy, good guy in one of her videos well. Aiming to be good matters. Nice is beta while bad is just an insecure image, while good is alpha. Good guy has social proof, peacocks (picture the animal; stands out), has standards, is pre selected by other/many women, leader of men, selective about potential suitor, knows what one wants, humble, confident, adaptable, so on. Anything you are doing to "EARN" a positive response from her (or anyone else for that matter) is probably nice.

Stop it!

Anything you are doing that is calculated to TRIGGER a response from her (or anyone else) that moves your situation in the direction YOU want it to go, is not "nice", but will likely get you where you want to go.

Walking up to a girl with a rose in hand and saying I bought this for you is nice.

That's one..small step toward the friend zone. One giant leap toward friendzonekind.

You're not dead yet, but small "mistakes" add up FAST.

Now.

Walking up to a girl with a rose in hand, start talking about absolutely anything OTHER than her and the situation you're in standing there and not mentioning it at all and if she asks about it, just smirk at her and maybe playfully bop her on the nose tip with it and walking away with the rose still in hand is NOT nice.

But.

It will work. I didn't just make that up. I've done it.

Study on this.

And tell me why it works.

PS. Warning though.

When I was 17, we could get away with a helluva lot more with chicks.

Much more than guys can get away with now, so maybe don't use that example in real life (the bopping her on the nose part, the rest is ok), but do understand it so you can understand the underlying principle.

Actually, I'll give that part away although you probably shoudn't do it in today's day and age.

1 She'll smell it after having already seen it and girls mentally link roses to romance (and sex)

2 Done just right, it tickles. That feels good.
