I attended a wedding last night, and I witnessed a pattern I've seen elsewhere (though even worse at frat parties). Everyone I know (my dance instructor aunt included) agrees that I can tear up a floor with my moves (and even know the basics of REAL dance, swing), but in spite of that it seems few women want to dance with me. I'll sidle up to a group of women, dance angled toward one and try to make eye contact and it's often like I'm not even there. My strengths: 7/10 face with great hair, 5'10", moderately confident (can verbally approach, but if they aren't immediately agreeable I can't recover with them, I never initiate kino unless they clearly enjoy my company)

No real weaknesses apart from my age (21), no babyface either.

What could my trouble be, TRP? Is my approach method off, should I be more direct?
