Good luck brother. Find something you like. Be it gym, martial arts, swimming, basketball or whatever. Preferably something where you also meet with other people occasionally.

It's hard at first, but in time things will improve. Good for you that you are going to therapy. First and foremost you need to look after your mental health. Joining a gym or doing some form of physical exercise will be very beneficial for your overall well being and mood.

As the others have mentioned, pursuing a hobby or passion is a good way to get out there and meet new people and for positive social interactions.

Be open to trying new things and experiences. Go travel if you enjoy travelling. Visit somewhere new. A solo trip can put you out of your comfort zone but will help you grow as a person.

Surrounding yourself with supportive friends and family is a big help.
