She's irritating but right. You ARE NOT required to provide ID unless under arrest. Cops cannot demand ID for a detainment OR trespass. Cop is 100% wrong. I hope she sues and wins. If YOU were questioned by an agent of the government remain silent until arrested then you are required to ID. People need to learn their rights.

as much as i hate to admit it. no reasonable suspicion. detained unlawfully, officer solicited a crime from bystander by asking them if they wanted her trespassed after he detained her, you can't trespass someone the is willfully leaving. she's not in the wrong. he wanted to ID her for his report she does not have to legally comply.
