I think they are simps. They explicitly said women have it worse when it comes to body images then proceed to give multiple ways men have it worse from height to physique to phallus size, etc.

Not to mention, they full on acknowledged that it’s more accepted to say anything you want about a man’s body no matter how harsh. They also talked about women’s unrealistic standards for men’s body image yet stuck to the claim that women have it harder when it comes to body image issues. How do they make such good points yet maintain that women have it harder ?

Body dysphoria is probably the most common mental illness around. I believe it’s one of the most common diagnosis’s.

In todays world men and women have it just as bad as each other in this department. in fact, I’d argue boys have it a little worse given the current epidemic of steroid abuse amongst young boys.

“Three percent of all high school students reported using anabolic steroids: 5.0% of males and 1.4% of females.” That’s almost 5x the amount of boys abusing steroids as girls in high school. Safe to say society shames boys more causing more boys to abuse steroids.

Not to mention most of them are getting this from the black market which means they have no idea what the true ingredients are, it’s probably not safe, and they probably aren’t getting advice from a medical professional. “The primary source of anabolic steroids was the black market (85.2%), while physicians directly supplied anabolic steroids to only 7.4% of the adolescents.”

“The median age for anabolic steroid consumption was 17 yr.” These boys aren’t even completing puberty before abusing steroids. This is insane! This just goes to show how deep the insecurities are from being constantly body shamed.
