The best phrase I've heard for this is "outcome independence". Meaning that you can care about her and you can have hopes that things will go somewhere with her, but regardless of the outcome, you're gonna be fine and you'll be happy and have fun.

Same in this case. Some girls will fall in fucking love with you if you ignore them. Even in that case though it's not easy, you need to demonstrate value. Julien RSD has some good videos on this. Some others will not respond to that. You just have to stay in set, you have to put up with their bullshit and so on...but in the end you lay them. So...it depends.
