The crash was caused by bankers trading risky products. They knew what they were doing it was fraud. They were taking risky home loans and packaging them up with safer loans and giving them a new rating. Then selling that. Just because they added some safe loans doesn’t make the product (MBS) safer it just masks the risky loans. Long story short lord of people defaulted on their loans and no one went to jail. The product is still traded today. Finance is the study of money. These businesses use money to make money. Their only goal is to make money. Often times these executives are well connected and get away with doing shady stuff all the time but the 08 crisis was global so it caught attention.

Finance is very cut throat and drives a lot of fraudulent causes like big Pharma, big Ag, etc. to make money. Imo the industry is poorly as regulators often jump from the regulator side to the industry side like it’s nothing. Clear conflict of interest here yet nothing is done. It has nothing to do with men and more to do with personalities. You know that old saying business is cut throat. Yeah it is because everyone’s chasing their quarterly bonus and a good rating. They don’t care how they get their but they’ll get their and this behavior is rewarded financially. As you climb the ranks people become more and more sociopathic.

I went in a rant because i wrote an entire paper on Dodd frank in college. I majored in finance. It has nothing to do with gender it’s the system itself. It needs to change.

Men are the reason for the real estate crash. It's rich men north of Richmond who are to blame... They set up laws for unsettled women to buy a loan for 30 years knowing most women don't want to work for 30 years.
