I want to start by saying that I may not agree with most of the orthodoxy here but i am sensitive to many of the concerns. Also i do not want to trivialize Jim Crow as any misandry happening today is nowhere near as institutionalized as racism of that time.

On Lenore Skenazy's free range kids blog, someone mentioned a clever idea for pushing back on the stigma of childless adults (especially men) on playgrounds to the point that some cities like NY or MKE have ordinances with outright bans. They said a bunch of childless men should do a sit-in on a playground in a municipality where it's against the rules. I dont think we're at the point where that's necessary but it'll be something to keep in mind if police become too fascistic about it.

If god forbid "women-only" subway train cars become a thing in America (like in Japan), even after all the protests on how it's unconstitutional and a total violation of the Civil Rights Act, I'd definitely be down for men to do a "sit-in" in one of those! Because that would in fact be the same as a "whites only" train car. Fortunately I can't see that becoming a thing in this country.

Just a random thought. Any other ideas you have for sit-ins to address the LWMA agenda? Women-only gyms maybe? Those dont bother me too much but it's valid if you want to die on that hill. Peaceful protest is the way to go, never through violence.
