I get the argument about rape and assault that women suffered as civilians but the rest is insane mental gymnastics just to not acknowledge that men have it worst in some cases,trying in a sneaky way to push the 'men who fought in wars had accountability' narrative. \"women had no political power and therefore had no say in a war,they were never the instigators\" . I wonder how the millions of low-ranked men who forcibly fought in wars could say no in a war or how they were the instigators.Also \"they had more amount of power\"? wtf.

Also,it was not only the risk for death,men who survived could have been mutilated,if not mutilated they would have PTSD for their rest of their lives. If you go to war you are 100% doomed for life in contrast to childbirth that could surely be very hard and risky in the old times but it wouldn't necessary doom the woman's whole life.

And to apply this to 2024,women in most western countries have the choice to not give chidbirth,but men are still forcibly go to wars and can't leave the country,for example Ukraine.
