Just starting out on my journey for a potential divorce in 2 years. Why 2 years later? Its because I want to be there for my youngest till she attends college which is in 2 years. Not sure if I can make it till then but am going to try. Unimagined cruelty in the home that I never thought I would tolerate but I have learnt to grin and bear it while taking photographs and documenting evidence which hopefully will be useful in the future. Sorry if this is already discussed but I am new to Reddit and new to divorce. Thanks. For context, I am over 50 and been in an unhappy marriage for about 5 years. Basically housemates and even that would be fine but as spouse ages, everything - her work issues, her friend issues, childs school issues, child sickeness, work in the house - somehow manages to become my fault resulting in rants against me and then for some reason my family gets insulted - she hates some of them for no fault of theirs. I will be filing in MA and any generic or MA specific advice is appreciated.
