Graduated in may with useless PoliSci degree. Whole academic career spend reading and writing papers about dead guys. Can't dwell on it. Good thing is my upper-middle class parents paid for it all, so no debt.

Bad thing is, I'm still at home working in a part-time retail hellhole for 10$/hr. Its really unfulfilling and I don't understand how people can do this shit.

I'm pretty sure I've exceeded my lifetime loan limit, so I'm not sure I can go back and get a real degree (like accounting). No way in hell I'm doubling down on stupid shit and getting a masters degree.

I was thinking of trying to get a job as a bank teller and moving up to loan officer and then maybe underwriting. Whatever credentials or tests needed to ascend I could deal with. I hate the idea of sales, but if it was something related to financial products or instruments I would like that. I'm really interested in the economy in general. I follow Peter Schiff's podcasts religiously and can "talk the talk" to a certain degree. I've held my own in conversations with rich nepotist kids who's dads got them finance internships.

Ultimately, if we were to look at some kind of Maslow's SMV hierarchy, I feel like having financial stability and independence are the base level. Its kind of out of the question to pull bitches if you have nowhere to take them to close. Also, my confidence suffers because I feel like an adult child. My frame can be chipped because of this. I can't really dish anything out when people knock me down publicly about it. Kind of just have to take it.

That being said I simply want to get in an entry-level spot and move up. I don't plan on marrying, LTR's, or any of that horseshit. I've already fucked enough girls to destroy my ability to pair-bond and remain entertained by the same vagina for an extended period of time. Thus, financials don't have to be astronomic.

In summation, with a useless degree, and only stints of retail work history, how can I parlay this into a position where I can at least live independently?
