Talking to a girl that texted me yesterday. Since I have adopted a red pill mindset I have been slowly distancing myself from my friends as I improve myself and begin to really see people's underlying motives. I don't have a problem with any of my friends in particular, but as I'm reading the sidebar and learning I have started distancing myself a from close personal relationships for a while (monk mode?) which means missing parties, ignoring texts, that's sort of stuff. Yesterday I was achieving a work convention (think 5,000 people) and I got a text from a girl who's shown interest in me in the past. She now hangs out with my friends a lot. She's pretty cool, however as this point I don't feel like I want anything to do with any woman on a personal level.

She told me where her and my friends were sitting (also there) and invited me to come sit with them.

I said thanks and said that I would see, but I already knew I didn't want to be distracted so I sat by myself. I sent her a text the following day saying thanks for the invitation but I couldn't make it over there.

She said it was fine, and that they missed me. I replied " Maybe next time then." She then asked if everything was okay with me, to which I replied "what do you mean?" She said that I had been acting "off" (whatever that means) and I assumed she was talking about how I pretty much cut myself off from my last group of friends as I've been branching out.

The last thing I wanted to do was start talking about my personal life so I replied "Don't take it personally." I hope that wasn't too much of an assholish thing to say as I'd like to at least keep some kind of line open in the future just in case. I don't think she took it as I intended, as she responded "Oh, alright?" I think I may just say nothing but I'd like some input, thanks.
