I had an experience today that I just need to share. I was on the metro and noticed a girl with the most beautiful eyes. I felt this strong urge to approach her and let her know how much she intrigued me. I spent the entire ride mentally preparing myself, planning to tell her how pretty her eyes were and how she caught my attention.

When we finally got off the metro, I gathered all my courage and approached her. But as soon as I was in front of her, all my preparation went out the window. Instead of delivering my rehearsed compliment, I ended up mumbling incoherently and awkwardly asked if she was from a certain place. She said no, and I quickly apologized and went on my way.

I can't control my nervousness in these situations, and it's incredibly frustrating. I was so ready and confident in my mind, but when the moment came, I just couldn't keep it together. She was perfect, and now I feel like I've lost my chance. My confidence has taken a big hit, and I hate that I couldn't overcome my nerves.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? How do you deal with the anxiety and nervousness of approaching someone you're interested in? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
