Nobody expects any intelligent or meaningful conversation on Twitter/X (which really is a misandrist cesspool), but I saw a comment earlier from an idiot misandrist that even by those low standards made me shake my head. This person said something to the effect that while toxic femininity exists, it's a much lesser problem than it's counterpart and it's counterpart has more societal power due to men being in power. So acknowleding toxic femininity existing but trying to mitigate it and make it a non-issue, which is arguably worse than denying it exists at all since you're basically trying to not have it an issue.

First, I'm so sick of both of the terms, toxic masculinity and toxic femininity; they're nothing but immature, divisive and insulting terms trying to link one's gender with toxicity, when gender has zippo to due with being toxic and both can be toxic in their own right. But if toxic masculinity exists, it goes without so does toxic femininity and the latter arguably has far more societal power with how it's never mentioned, condemned and goes ignored and not taken seriously. It's basically allowed to run rampant. Second, the tired old "men in power" argument. This person probably means all men in general when such "men in power" make up a very small minority of men as a while. The same with women, there's plenty of women in positions of power and authority just like men and again, it's a small minority. And what if such "men in power" are actually good and reliable at their jobs? Do these idiots seriously think the majority of men are born hating women and make it their life's mission to get in political and societal postions of power to subjugate women?

I'm so tired of this divisive us vs. them nonsense. There's good and bad men and women alike, gender never has anything to do with it, and there's both men and women alike in positions of power and authority. Some are good and some are bad. This garbage is nothing but an intentionally divisive ploy to demonize men, give a negative stigma to masculinity and deflect from the fact just as many bad, toxic women exist as do men. The divide is no doubt intentional with how misandrists repeatedly have shown to not want actual gender equality and harmony, only merely dominion and to try to demonize men as much as possible. So fed up with it.
