I live on the east coast and have travelled a lot to NY and LA, but I’m not your guy (not open to relationship).

If I could suggest you:

A local could be ideal, especially the one who lives in NY. LA is pretty much easy to navigate even if you’re a tourist, but NY (nyc specifically) is a different beast; too many tourist traps, too many places to visit in just few days (what locals prefer are different than what’s promoted as tourist attractions), lots of traffic, public transports such as subways, bus, etc. Unless you’re willing to get lost together. It could create an interesting story haha.
Any specific requirements you look for? Type of man like physically? Race? Height? Are you open to DM’s? Photos required?
Last but not least: travel arrangement. Who pays for what? Hotel? Meals? Transports? Go dutch? How many days you have in mind?
