Not to mention the fact that the number of underage girls who get sexually abused and the number of boys who also do isn't that far off from each other... 20% of girls vs 10% of boys? That's either 2 in 10, or 1 in 10.

And women do abuse children in significant numbers, sexually or otherwise. But so many people will say "well it's because men keep leaving their wives and their children. If men stayed with their kids, the numbers would be different." I swear if I wasn't so determined to be tactful, I'd smack the next person that says this.

Like since when did we switch from "women are all brave and powerful enough to do anything" to saying that our actions are just a product of our circumstances. Innocent, frail little things that can do no harm unless some other force influenced us to do it. Obviously that's an oversimplification, but it feels like that.

This is also being influenced by men who still thirst over their high school teacher as well, since some never mentally matured past being a teenager. They forget that underage boys don't know any better when it comes to a teacher making advances on them.

I've noticed a shift online (especially in the sphere of tiktok I'm in) when it comes to talking about male sexual assault victims at least, though it's still not ideal, yet.

People who applaud adults preying on children are a smudge on humanity, I wish we could get rid of them.

And 100%. People always talk about getting rid of the predators, but the people who either egg them on or simply make excuses for them need to drop off the face of the earth too.

Many men who think this are projecting. Fantasies are one thing, reality is an entirely other thing. There is no excuse and that projecting has ruined the lives of many men and boys. Allowing such a abuse is NOT an option and the fact women seem to get away with this so often sickens me.

So I'm gonna provide some much needed information to this. First of all I saw another comment saying that underage assaults for men and women were 10 to 20% respectively but that's incorrect. We know this first off because only around 10-15% of assaulted men actually report, and even with that the underage statistics are quite literally identical. Second when rapist men are jailed and spend time with therapists... A hefty portion were previously assaulted by a woman in their early life causing a cycle, I can't remember the exact stat but it was upwards of 35-40% of male aggressors. That isn't an excuse for their behavior if course but if we notice the cycle we may be able to help those suffering before it gets to this point. Hell quite literally only 4 countries changed laws to make it possible to charge women for rape against men ONLY FUCKING FOUR and this doesn't even include the UK as they haven't changed the laws. The problem with statistics is like previously stated who reports but also who receives the report. Most just brush off male victims of assault and I know this isn't exactly the post topic but the same goes for domestic violence where women are actually more likely to be the abuser in the relationship but God forbid we acknowledge that. Men are seen as impervious to the women abusers where women are seen as completely and utterly helpless and neither are the case.

Erin Pizzey is a former feminist who opened the first domestic violence shelter in the UK, she soon after realized just how horrible the feminist movement truly was and witnessed first hand the horrors men endured alone and thus.. she became a men's rights activist.

Cassie Jay originally set out to attack men, she was indoctrinated into the ideology of man hating but shortly after starting a documentary about this very topic...she realized everything she thought she knew was a lie

And finally Emily W King who is a short form content creator who focuses on the societal implications of the way we treat men as well as being very invested in the family court system showing the heavy biases against men there as well.

It's truly despicable how we treat our men, especially the ones struggling with various issues exacerbated by society. If they would only listen.. maybe things could change.
