"The Polygamous Sex" is a book written by Esther Vilar and published in 1976. I assume many of you have read her preceding work "The Manipulated Man".
If you haven't then do so. She was chased out of Germany by the lesbian feminist mob and it's order of white knighting journalists because of her publishings. I can also recomment a "discussion" from the 70s between her and the famous German feminist Alice Schwarzer, who happens to be convicted of tax fraud just recently by the way. Interesting enough Schwarzer at that point of time hadn't admitted she is a lesbian. So her views regarding heterosexual relationships and families were regarded more legitimated then.
Vilar's idea in this publication is basically that women's behaviour creates a cognitive dissonance in men which they try to solve by living in polygamy. She assumes that men and women have the same capabilities mindwise, but women deliberatly choose to "stay dumb" and behave like a child because they will be more successful in tying a provider to them and they simply do not need to be more clever.
She covers and explains many RP topics like hypergamy, AFBB, friendzoning, provider mentality, childish behaviour, feminism, white knighting and the necessarity of a higher status to be a successful male.
I don't agree with all of her thesises but a big part sounds pretty logical and there are some hidden gems in there.
Recommended read.
Edit: I just learned, that there happens to be a full analysis of it which has just been published by Eric Crowley.
