So, I was sitting at this cafe/Bookstore and saw this cute waitress with a beautiful smile. we exchanged some words, and I liked the way she talks, then decided that I would make a move.

After I paid the check, I went to the counter and told her that I think She is very cute, and gave her a piece of paper with my number written in it. she literally giggled and her face showed a very wide smile and thanked me more than once, then she took this piece of paper. I told her that I thought of asking her her number at first, but then decided to give her mine in order not to put any pressure on her. then I went outside.

This sounds good. except that I stood outside for a while, then thought about her giggles, and what appeared to me a genuine interest, so I decided to went inside again and ask her for her number. she said no, Sorry, and told me that she isn't interested in dating at this time. I felt surprised more than anything to be honest. I really liked her and thought that there is a chemistry.. what I have done wrong? should I have waited for her to call me?
