I send my own advice on that thread and will say my toughts from what I saw on the post and comments. Your toughts tho ?

While the guy is in the wrong in here, since he gets overly fussed about pictures, the responses are overreacting. Is this kinda weird from the guy? A potential sign of having controlling or validation seeking tendencies? Sure, but it's still just annoyance. He isn't massively overbearing or overreacting to be full blown massive problem or warning sign. Everyone normal has some flaws that we either can't stand them, tolerate or even like them. I can't imagine a relationship where we both have to tip toe and be near perfect, like we have hardly know each other and one fight would make us not talk.

But the vast majority are not acting like it's an issue that should be talked about or an annoyance she can chose to deal with or not in her man, but as he is massive red flag and she should ran for the hills immediately . They are acting as if he is future abusive toxic husband, while at the same time demanding to know why Op is dating such a 'child' (19 is still young sure, but young man who is just 3 years younger than her lmao) and some hold both views as this supposed 'child' is still able to opress her like an authority figure.

I feel like if this was homosexual or gender flipped, the response would be more appropriate and tell to talk with each other first and try to understand your partner perspective and if not chance occurs either decide if they want to live with this or not . And they definitely would not act like OP's partner is a imature child but also a doomineering manipulative opressor at the same time. Men literally can't afford to have some basic flaws, inncovience or slighty demand in relationship with women , or else the woman needs to run to the hills. They have to treat her as if she made from glass and she can't handle relationship conflict and needs a strong unbothered facade , which is sexist on both sides. I would feel quite insulted if my man was made to feel like a monster, and I was lowkey told I couldn't handle conflict or my man having some flaws . Harping on the man, and condescensingly fussing concern on the woman
