The URL for the second article is incorrect, the son is actually 12. However that obviously doesn't make it any better. Plenty of people rightfully called the second mom out for emotional incest but no one called her out for telling a child how he should treat his future girlfriend but never telling him he should be spoiled by her in return which is pretty messed up. When dads take their daughters on dates it's to show them how men should treat them when they're older, I don't see why moms can't do the same for their sons. The binary that men always have to be the spoilers and women always have to be the ones being spoiled is fucking ridiculous.
