Someone said that “no one acts like this when a woman gets raped”

I replied mentioning how the entirety of Kolkata shut down recently due to a rape case on a woman, due to protests taking place all over the country. Even gave sources lmao

I think this and other unjust situations are unnerving and disappointing.

I wish we can start fresh tomorrow morning and clean up global injustices, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, family life, religion, disabilities and financial status.

Imagine a place where people work together and help each other out, regardless of the above attributes.

A Hindu, with access to his garden, helps a fellow Catholic neighbour without his own garden who helped an Islamist by lending money to buy food from the gardener. A woman defending a man being mugged in a subway with her mace. A white guy providing refuge to a black guy who accidentally trespassed and was chased by a mob. A bisexual woman preventing a straight trans wanting to jump off a bridge.

Why can't it be like this? We are all one race!

Btw, I am from Canada and I am as white as snow in my 50s. I have helped many youth of all genders, nationalities, and religion off the streets at -30C. When we see all of us huddling in an unheated bus shelter, you realize that we are all the same, trying to survive in a shitty world.

This man was laughed at for spousal support, much like men and women before him. And many will in the future.

How can we change this gross misallocation and disrespect to each other's fellow humans, through a 'blind' justice system?

Tomorrow is a new day. Let's make it better.
