Hi everyone, A female coworker has shown interest in me. Personally I dont see what she likes. I'm out of shape in my early 30s, with a rapidly receding hairline so I keep my hair very short and while we work in the same department I'm stationed in a different office location (like physically different office) so she almost never has a reason to talk or see me this and my hobbies are video games. But....... I'm willing to change my behavior for the right person, I usually cannot set a new goal without a definitive reward in sight.

A month ago she called me on my extension to ask if I would go to the Thanksgiving happy hour get together, and I said "No, because they usually clear out by the time I get there since it's an hour drive from my worksite" she said "if you are coming I'll be here waiting with X " (another male coworker / her trainer - a friend of mine). Everything was good at the happy hour but very surface level. When it was time to leave we walked to the parking lot and hugged goodbye. This event was actually the first time we met in person.

Yesterday I emailed the two of them asking if they will be attending the Christmas party, the guy said he wont be, but she hit reply all and said "I'm going if you'll be there". So I said "save me a seat".

I found her IG, but have not messaged her. How should I handle this?, ideally I'm hoping this leads to something long term. I dont mean should I message her IG, I mean the whole get together. I'd like to go out or invite her over or something.

An unorthodox female coworker (my trainer, very good wingwoman especially for work stuff) also my age who knows I like her told me that the girl in question is interested if she is replying "I'll go if you are".
