You don't need to be a part of her social circle, in fact you probably don't want to be.

You need to demonstrate you are high value in ANY social circle and ALL social circles.

You join any social circle by spending time with them.

the social proof you're thinking of is called "pre-selection" which is when other women approve of a guy

The social proof you want is from being seen/known to be a 'winner' at whatever you are good at, be that sports, cooking, humor, cubing, the list is endless

Women like to be associated with men who (at least appear to be) 'winners' or at least fighters, guys who won't give up easily ... guys who are giving it their best

They want to hear how well you are doing not how well you have done and 'social proof/validation' is one way of establishing this
