A big difference I noticed in Models was that he assumes that women aren't stupid. That they're actually fairly smart, they know what they're doing, and they know what you're doing (dread, pickup, etc.) at least the ones Manson deals with. I think the TRP model reduces women to illogical felines with no choice but to obey their fickle programming. Manson finds that "game" only works because you believe it works - you're excited about it, you express attraction, even if you're geeky some girls will still like that and they'll think it's cute you're using pickup tricks on them. I think a ton of it is very similar. That you must overcome this charade by actually becoming high SMV and not just using tricks to emulate it (then falling back into your "real needy self" once you've bagged the girl). At the end of the day, I think both TRP and Manson say te same thing: obtain/attract girls based on who you are, not who they are. (TRP likes to hold women accountable for not being like men, or like their ideal, etc.) Manson is not bitter, which is why he's so great. He doesn't talk about feminism. Just how it works. If you don't like something about a girl, forget her.

What i got from Models is:

Be honest with yourself and with others. Don't lie to impress people, because it's much either to attract people who you genuinely click with. If a girl turns you down for being you, move on. Why waste your time anyway?

If deep in your heart you fucking love Magic the Gathering, don't waste your time rattling off canned pick up lines in the club that youread in some book.

INSTEAD: Lift, have good hygine and high SMV. Then go find some nerds or a Magic the Gathering club at your local college and slay bitches with your level 12 dick there.

Mark Manson is against the red pill from when I spoke to him.

He's still got valuable points, mainly, investing in yourself.

Mark Manson believes in things like honesty and vulnerability.

He believes in becoming a better man by finding your purpose in life. As well as treating woman as equals, but understanding they are different.

I think initially TRP was like this as well.

But over time censorship of anything against the "core" beliefs and the angry circle jerk against woman, began to force things into the extreme.

I pick out what I can use from Mark and from TRP and try to stay away from extremities.

Having read models i think he is purple pill.

He thinks vulnerability is a good thing. From personal experience it's very damaging in the long run.

I think that he goes against typical pua stuff, but trp is also kinda against basic pua tricks and more about a deep and fundamental internal self improvement. Try to be vulnerable with your ten year marriage when you have kids or cry in front of your wife about being afraid losing your job and see how far it gets you.

I think Manson is a bit naive about the nature of women and haven't really had the luxury of marriage and very long term relationship experiences to prove him wrong.

He is also underplaying the importance of male aggression, size and fitness. He says it's just one component, but with trp lifting is number one priority before all.

Another thing is that trp is very very not pc and it would be hard to publish a hardcopy without succumbing to a bunch of pc bullshit. Even the rational male is using mild language, and is pretty much the only serious trp book around.

He is young, a skilled ex pua, but didn't has the experience of royally getting screwed by his spouse. I would like to hear his opinions of woman and equality and honesty after being married a decade.
