It's so funny they can only ever strawman the argument of "men just blame women for their problems."
It's doubly funny cuz that is literally what they do - from your generic tiktok feminist to the highest echelons of feminist academia...they just blame men. Even when they spew a word salad about patriarchy not being about "men" but a system of restrictive societal norms and expectations and yadda yadda it still only ever boils down to "cuz men." It's in the name: PATRIARCHY.
"Patriarchy hurts men too" they say...as they tell us to sit down and shut up and stop being whiny and entitled and toxic when we dare speak up about how we're affected by said "patriarchy."
They encourage men to "open up" but don't want to hear what we have to say. They just want us to parrot their ideology back them.
No. Men blame society for our problems...just like society is the cause of women's problems. And it just so happens woman CAN contribute to male issues, just as men CAN contribute to women's issues.
Only the redpill grifter side of male advocacy has the "the problem is women" element.
But these people maliciously choose to strawman any and all advocacy for men as being redpill or "manosphere." They know damn well male advocacy is not the redpill, but they need to scapegoat as much as they can.

Well said.
As a woman, if I say anything in defense of men, I get called a pick me.
Doesn't seem to matter that I've been married 20 years this year, to the same man. But I'm trying to get all you guys to pick me by being supportive of the issues you guys go through.
How about; I have brothers, friends, a son, nephews, just men in general in my life that deserve to be spoken up for.
But nope, I'm not a girls girl because I hold women accountable for their actions.

Funny how men are the ones that cause wars yet queens started more wars than kings.

Wait, we live in a system where women have no income ?!? How come all these big corporations aren't employing women who work for free ?
The rest of it is all just as laughably ridiculous.

It doesn't matter whether my problems are caused by women or by other men. They're still caused by people who aren't me. What is this line of argument meant to prove?

Not just that. Even these twitter threads have mean comments about boys and men: https://out.reddit.com/t3_1kn0nn3?app_name=ios&token=AQAA9cQlaAzy76tR2eYNEg8npyeJ4H9zlp3vfMja0XEN1pLAXkta&url=https%3A%2F%2Fx.com%2Fnotcapnamerica%2Fstatus%2F1913708001426608541 https://out.reddit.com/t3_1kn0n2q?app_name=ios&token=AQAA9cQlaKkXv1e9KcpBzsdynt87SbEvjVWw5aGn4jslcBmgBnQs&url=https%3A%2F%2Fx.com%2Faundrearunway%2Fstatus%2F1922441559762456591 For the first one, more men are going into trade: https://www.westernmassnews.com/2024/02/09/more-young-men-are-enrolling-trade-schools-instead-college/ For the second one, which boys? And which abuser?

Hillary voted for wars. They made the standard. They have income and refuse to spend it. Lies must be challenged.

People don't care about men.

Honestly, is it just me or behind the scenes, men's rights activists are stereotyping men as lazy and playing games in the basement just cause they "don't go to college"? No one talks about how when men go to college, they go for degrees that pay more such as STEM. Women "outpacing" men in college isn't the whole story. Also, college enrollment is itself declining and more people are going for trade instead which is male dominated.

The ridiculous part is none of these issues have been an issue for at least 60 years... women have been encouraged in the workforce for decades... and those old enough to have been prevented from working are likely past retirement age, or they're deceased.
Gotta love the new age feminists appropriating oppression they've never faced.

It's always funny because there is always a way to immediately shut down these types of people. They can downplay all they want just call them on the downplaying as it's happening.
"Men die at wars"
"And guess who's sending them to wars! And guess who made it so that historically only men can go into the army!"
Rich generally white men who none of the men who are being sent to war have a relation to. If someone's reaction to the simple statement of "Men die at wars" is "Who caused it" we really have to start questioning the intentions of the question.
"We aren't allowed to express our emotions"
"Who made that standard?"
Rich generally white men who had the money to push such standards onto society through advertisements and models showing what "Real Men" should be like. So none of the men who are actually suffering from such a standard. Because the rich fucks don't have to care.
"Women are gold-diggers why must I pay for you at the restaurant"
"Who set up the system in which women had no income and were dependant on their husband?"
We don't have that system now for one, plenty of women have jobs and income, I'm sorry if you don't for some reason? I guess? Also still not the men who are being expected to pay for you.
That last line is also fucking crazy
"I'll tell you why your hand is hurting and bruised. That's because you keep punching women in the face"
Only one I see swinging is whatever person wrote this. Downplay, Accuse, Cry.

I'm sure historically most places only had mostly just men in the army, not just semi-white Europe.
[–]Thebiggestshits 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (1 child) | Copy Link
..... No how was my point missed this much? How did you come to the conclusion that I thought it was only white Europeans?
I even add "Rich Generally White" in a response to who sent men off to war... I'm confused on how we are coming to the conclusion you are coming to..
[–]Golesh 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I don't know how you are coming to your point either. People all over the world were sending their men to war.
