In person, probably not. I've yet to see people be bullied for being different in real life. In fact, I usually see the opposite because society, believe it or not, has grown more compassionate over time.

The problem is social media is the home of the some of the most backwards, deluded, socially inept people to ever exist. They have little to no real world experience and only regurgitate what the hear in echo chambers.

These are your standard misandrists, the "all men = bad" miserable group of people who will likely never be happy in life until they wake up and change.
