Hey! I found out about TheRedPill quite recently and it opened my eyes. Thank you for being such a good community, I've never had any male figure in my life who would explain me such obvious stuff, and I guess this 'movement' provided me with just that.

Background- 18 year old, still in school, used to be a loser with no social skills.

During the last 2 years I made a lot of improvement in terms of the way I dress, my physique (lifting 3days/week) and my social skills. From undesirable loser, into normal dude. There is still a lot to do, but im improving myself every day.

Anyway, my problem is that I feel like im underachieving compared to my friends who also used to be losers, but now have quite a good social life.

Back 3 years ago, we were pretty much on the lowest ladder in social hierarchy. After last year of school, we lost touch with each other and went seperate ways. Recently I found out that my friends built a good social life, going to parties almost every week etc, while I seem to be mostly spending my friday nights in the gym, or home watching a movie/reading.

I have a plan on what to improve on, and how to make my social life richer. But the main issue is: I feel really jealous. I would encourage my friends, comment on the great progress they made, generally be cool and supportive. But deep inside, I feel jealous and sad. I know there is no reason to feel this way, as they worked hard to get there, and they are my friends.

I know that happiness must come from within, and comparing yourself to others is dumb, but I don't know how to deal with these negative emotions, and this negativity is affecting me in a really bad way. Did someone ever go through something like that? How did you deal with it?
