I’m an average to maybe slightly above average looking dude, maybe a 5-6 on the scale. I accidentally discovered how to pick up girls that work at Hooters and Twin Peaks.

I just like looking at pretty women. I always have. I’m a respectful man. Women are people after all. Going to a place like Hooters/TP is a place where you have permission to look a little and I enjoy internally appreciating what beautiful women look like without having to try and bed them to satisfy my ego.

disclaimer This is not a “how to” guide to picking up any woman that works at these “breastaraunts,” it’s a guide on how to pick up a few. It’s worked for me several times. Any generalization it sounds like I’m making about all waitresses at these places is only generalizing the ones this works on. And I promise you, it really does work.

Step 1: bring something to read or bring some work to do while you’re at the restaurant. Bonus points if you’re reading a book that requires you to take notes.

For whatever reason, ignoring a beautiful woman and focusing on something else drives many of them mad. They want to know what’s more interesting than their beauty. I enjoyed giving glances at the different women in the store but I wasn’t there to pick up a new lady. I was there to read, work, or do something else besides beg for her attention.

Step 2: Smile and be nice and be direct and brief.

You’re not actually ignoring this girl. So don’t. When she comes to check on you or get your order or see if you need another beer, stop what you’re doing, give your full attention and respond. Don’t act like she’s important to you until she’s addressing you and then value everything she says and respond directly to what she says and don’t ask more questions or try to turn the conversation into more. She’s going to when you never do.

Step 3: stick around for a long time but stay engaged with what you’re doing

The idea that any waiter or waitress doesn’t like you being there for hours on end is a myth and is entirely circumstantial. It’s annoying for you to be there for a long time if you meet any of the following conditions:

1) you beg for attention

2) their section is full and you’re preventing them from getting more tables

3) you don’t tip at least $10-15 after taking up the table for so long

4) you prevent them from going home once they are cut from the floor

The longer you ignore them, the more curious they get.

Step 3: when she eventually asks you what you’re reading or what you’re working on, engage her directly and answer it.

Appreciate her for asking. Don’t drag out the conversation out further. She’s trying to find out what is interesting about what you’re doing because it’s more interesting than she is to you. So sell it for what’s interesting about it. She will wish she was as interesting to you (reminder: this doesn’t go for every waitress)

Step 4: keep coming back and ask for the same waitress that took interest in you

It’s important to limit communication so you don’t become a regular they lump in with the other needy middle aged men. You’re just the dude that comes in and keeps to himself and is always nice. I’m not sure what truly does it but it feels like after a couple conversations and returns to the restaurant, she covets you because she knows more about you and the other girls still get ignored by you. She will tell them more about you behind the scenes and they will ask what your deal is and she will be the deliverer of that info.

Step 5a: ask your waitress to do something specific to an interest you share

Invite her to brunch to talk more about the thing you two gab about. Make clear that you’re sure they get asked out all the time so you’re not trying to be weird about it but you like talking to her. This usually works.

Step 5b: test the waters with another waitress on a day your regular one isn’t working. If one is interested she won’t be able to figure out why you didn’t choose her to be a regular with since you never talk to anyone and will take you through steps 1-5 very quickly.

It’s insane to me how well this works. Being nice and being into whatever you’re doing is the key. Obviously patience plays a key role but if you think a woman owes you her time, you’re already going to struggle out there. The beautiful women I’ve dated from these breastaraunts appreciated being treated like more than a piece of ass and they enjoyed knowing that I had interests beyond being a creep like other men.

If you think this doesn’t work, it’s because you have 0 confidence. It wouldn’t work for you because you feel like nothing does. I’ve gotten a number on the first visit before. I’ve also gotten one after several visits. It just depends on the waitress. Don’t try and hit on two at the same store ya creep. Have fun out there.
