I'm 27, a trucker (currently part-time on a business class im doing to up my grades so i can postulate for law school ), I have an accent, a philosophy degree, and absolutely zero connections in the business or politcal communications world. Then this girl who is absolute my type : wolf cut, smart, confident, etc. We are literally on opposite sides of the room, both stuck in our social bubbles. My biggest hesitation is this: I checked her IG (I know, I know) and she follows "financial bros" and is clearly starting out in the corporate world. That whole scene—the networking —is very strange to me, me being more into academia, driving and just solo working. I feel like we are fundamentally incompatible ; her sociable, me smart but more manual. She usually leaves too fast after the in-person classes for me to catch her. How do I make a move on her when l I've already decided I probably dont match well to her based on her Instagram ? What is the best, least-awkward way to connect with her. I hesitate to move next to her. And it would be weird to catch her after class.
