I go to a farmers market every weekend to practice cold approach and there’s this hot vendor who is one of the employees.
I’m a regular customer and I’ve asked details about her like her name, where she’s from, etc. At first I didn’t see any IOIs interacting with her, for example when I asked for her name she didn’t even ask for my name. I almost wrote her off on disinterest, however last time I went she came up to me from across the booth and I saw she had other customers near her but she came up to say hey very enthusiastically (seemed like she was seeking me out), I didn’t buy anything but I came back later on to just talk to her when she was less busy and she asked me if I have an apartment nearby (which is a personal question unrelated to selling). I get the impression that she’s just sort of shy or not socially skilled (she looks like 19-22).
I’ve already seen her 4-5 times over the past month but I’ve been trying to gauge if there’s any indication of interest before making a move on a vendor, because there’s other women I talk to at the farmers market and I don’t want to have to avoid this part of the market.
Yes I get she probably sees me as dollar signs, but I’m going to try taking my shot anyways because I have nothing to lose and there does seem to be some IOI, otherwise she would either avoid me or not ask any details about me. Any recommendations?
