Just opening up a discussion.

I'll start:

I'm twenty, med student, and I found that I function best (and gain the most satisfaction) from living a minimalist lifestyle. I was spoiled as a kid with everything accessible to me, junk food, the Internet, money, everything. So for me, it's important to silence to distractions and focus on the things that really matter to me. In that way, my lifestyle (evident by my living space) is tailored specifically so that each element serves a purpose -- there's no room for extra shit. This allows me to eliminate ADHD pretty much.

Similarly, my focus/priorities is simple and few. (1) Academic - dominate med school; (2) Fitness - Progress on my lifts and diet. Everything else is tertiary, and I label a lot of things as distractions. Things everyone knows like Facebook, entertainment, TV shows are things I simply don't consume. Then also other things like people in general that don't immediately benefit me and whom I don't have to interact/build a relationship with, I tend to shoo aside. This is something I must be aware of ("Don't build a fortress, isolation is dangerous"), but for now, it's not important enough for me to dedicate time fixing it (the benefits of having a focused productive life is essential for me to achieve my top two priorities). My social charisma also dwindled down especially this year as the workload for school increased, and "pickup" is a project that I have to put aside for now but definitely intend to pursue again in the future (or in specific social gatherings).

My mission would be to use my knowledge to impact the world (ideally in a positive way), and also to maintain emotional happiness and stability (which I currently possess). :)
