Gentlemen, How has your personal/religous beliefs helped you? How did religion impact during your deepest, darkest moments in your life?
I'll give my answer first because it is fair: I am a Buddhist, but I tend to practice it as "Buddha's Teaching" rather than considering it as a religion, and it helped me understand some aspects I have to improve in my life.
But there were times when my faith was never there for me when I was wronged by someone else or another party, but I still held onto my beliefs as hope when no one was there to hold me, and it helped me move on, not retaliate but move on.
And I highly appreciate your opinions on this subject.
