Main point: girl tells me "when we're together I'm with you...but when we're apart I don't have that emotional attachment"

She said this on a phone convo recently, she ended up calling me saying she "shotgun" with another guy and wanted to know what "we were" because their lips touched and she didn't want to disrespect me if we were a thing.

This situation caught me ofdguard because she called me in the middle of a nap.

How would you guys react in this situation? I want to see if I gave the correct response to this.(I'll give more details as needed on the events that took place)
