Feminists do subvert Marxist theory where they can (as they subvert ANYthing they can) to turn it into an indictment of or insult to men… even at the expense of a correct analysis of social conditions under capitalism (as if that would ever be their primary goal). That they would interpose the term of “man class” is such a stupefyingly erroneous conflation as to dismiss them out of hand. Are we to call Elon Musk an evil capitalist but not Diane Hendricks who sports a purported $22.3 billion standing? Is a homeless guy also part of the same “man class” as the Koch Bros? It’s an inane stretch of Marxist terminology in order to meet the misandrist requirement of feminism- a stretch that breaks upon actual class dynamics (which academics tend to avoid and ignore anyway). If no one is shutting them down immediately for the error and insult, it’s not a Marxist discussion, just a gaggle of larpers w a misandrist axe to grind.

It’s why- after perusing the “Communist” subreddits and finding them essentially just Far Left Capitalist (which is overrun w contemporary feminist ideological tactics)- I simply wrote them off and haven’t been back to torture myself further w their incompetence and obtuseness. It would be massive for Marxism to actually be understood and accurately applied to current events and class priorities and thus discussed productively, but you’re not likely to find a Leon Trotsky releasing his next polemic against errors in the general movement tendencies… in a subreddit… In that improbable case he’d get banned anyway for being too “toxic man class”…
