There’s no need to get philosophical. Men’s Rights is merely a me too movement. Feminism says psychological abuse is abuse, we say yeah, for me too. Feminism says bodily autonomy, we say me too! Feminism says they need more women in leadership roles, we say sure, so long as we don’t die fixing the power cables that light up your stupid office. Any claim feminism makes must come with its male counterpart, otherwise it’s not equality. Ffs, Iceland is one of the best countries in terms of gender equality and one thing they did was give fathers the same amount of leave as mothers, so there’s no incentive for the market to discriminate. It’s not rocket science

The MRM is obviously about equal rights for men not advantages.

I argue however, this inherently opposes feminist policies and practices of advantaging women and disadvantaging men and similarly includes opposing feminist disinformation.

I agree with the “academics” that the men’s movement (along with any egalitarian goal) is inherently anti-feminist. The issue is the academics misrepresent feminism as being pro-equality and therefore misrepresent any anti-feminism as opposing gender equality when of course being pro-equality inherently clashes with the feminist agenda of disadvantaging men. They misrepresent which movement is egalitarian and which promotes discrimination.
