Seriously. I mean what point was reached that if youre a man you should cheer this type of idea unironically and if you raise any objections youre a misogynist? ffs I genuinely hate to remind myself every single time that those women are just the very loud minority however the fact that a big studio decided that this type of content would be palatable for enough people to consume just boggles my mind

I dont even have to go into how ridiculous the scenario is with half the population being stripped from their rights (and how would any of this be enforced), I just want you to imagine a young teenager reading all of these comments and NOT running with huge open arms to whoever will peddle them anything in the opposite direction. and the women in the comment section just cheering this disgusting idea on as the “ultimate solution” to the violence brought upon women. I dint remember any man who dared to comment under the handmaidens tale that this would be the perfect society (its hard for me to convince of a man who would even want to live in such a dystopia), and yet these women feel very confident to snarky type cynical comments along the line of; “they should smile more” and “there men are hysterical” ect’

Im sorry for the rant this comment section made me lose hope for humanity for a couple if minutes, yall have any thoughts on this or how to not despair in the face of such enthusiastic jeering?
