We've been together 2 years and 3 months. She works and makes good money, I still study and on a somewhat tight budget. We always split everything 50/50 and this would be the first time it would happen.

We thought about going to a specific place for NYE, but we found out the flight tickets are expensive since it's kind of last minute. There are other options which I can afford 100%, but not as interesting. She offered to pay for half of my flight tickets, I told her I would think about it.

I've been reading and participating in TRP for some time now but I really would appreciate some advice here because this is new territory for me.
