Where to begin? Hi guys, I'm just a random dude. I'm 23, single, about a year away from getting my Bachelors in Accounting (fuck yeah!). I've been single for the entirety of my life and although it depresses me at times, I'm fucking grateful for the life I have and the good people in it.

During my undergrad, there were things I have noticed. And I'm not saying this for every person in this group. It's just that the people with money are usually the ones that are confident. They dress well, groom well, are charismatic, funny, sociable, and people notice that.

I would talk to them about how they get to the point where they feel good about themselves. They tell me that once you get money, girls and shit are no problem to obtain. This bothers me. Why exactly? It bothers me because I feel as though this thing called "love" is nothing more than some "fling" or w/e that is more superficial than the movies and books portray them to be. Is it wrong for me to feel bothered that the girls I will meet in the future will love me only because of the money? I mean, shit, I'm not going to make that much, but I'll make a decent amount. Or am I just being a little bitch about this and should just accept it and go with the flow?

The questions go on and on, therefore I need you guys to help me out here. What I'm asking from you is 1-10 cold, hard truths that will benefit an inexperienced person like me in the long run. I want to know the truth about dating, love, and relationships. So think of it this way, what would you tell your younger self what you know now to protect yourself from being hurt?
